LYLIA SAUREL

Lylia Saurel is a current graduate student at Columbia Climate School, majoring in Climate & Society. She is a former writer for The RICC magazine where she covered climate and science. Her work has appeared in State of the PlanetD&S MagazineThe Ticker and others. In addition to written journalism, she enjoys photojournalism and the visual arts. 


Lylia was born and raised in France. She is currently based in New York City and is an alumni from Baruch College, where she was awarded Institutional Investor in Journalism. She holds an AA in Writing and Literature and a dual BA in Creative Journalism and Communication Studies.
